"The material collected here in this short release was half written on the fly, half slowly gathered in my subconscious over several weeks at the end of 2017. Last year was quite the adventure in personal growth for me. The cover I created for this release was collaged out of a sewing manual from the 1960s that the generations before me might have put to its intended purpose.. but I named this record in honor of my independence from old ideas, so here's to a better use." -L. Valerie

'Arranged Marriage' is a brief but poignant take on the stumble into adulthood.
